تأثیر اندازه مؤسسه حسابرسی و رده سازمانی حسابرسان بر استدلال‌های اخلاقی حسابرسان مستقل در مراحل مختلف نظریه رشد اخلاقی کالبرگ

چکیده

هدف: هدف پژوهش حاضر، بررسی تأثیر اندازه مؤسسه حسابرسی و رده سازمانی حسابرسان، بر اسـتدلالهـای اخلاقـی حسابرسـان مستقل در مراحل مختلف تئوری رشد اخلاقی کالبرگ است. روش: این پژوهش از نوع کمی و در دسته پژوهشهای پیمایشی قرار میگیرد. برای جمعآوری دادههای پژوهش از پرسـشنامـهای سناریومحور استفاده شده است. حسابرسان شاغل در مؤسسههای خصوصی حسابرسی و سازمان حسابرسی، جامعه آمـاری پـژوهش را تشکیل میدهند. تعداد 355 پرسشنامه در سال 1399 از حسابرسان شاغل در مؤسسههای خصوصی حسابرسی و سازمان حسابرسـی دریافت شد. دادهها نیز با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و تحلیل رگرسیون بررسی شدند. یافتهها: پژوهش حاضر سه یافته عمده داشت. یافته نخست نشان میدهد که استدلالهای اخلاقـی حسابرسـان مسـتقل در سـطح پساقراردادی نظریه رشد اخلاقی کالبرگ قرار دارد. یافته دوم، از وجـود رابطـه منفـی معنـادار میـان سـطوح اسـتد لالهـای اخلاقـی حسابرسان مستقل و اندازه مؤسسههای حسابرسی حکایت میکند. یافته پایانی نشان میدهد که با افزایش مرتبه سازمانی حسابرسـان مستقل، سطح استدلالهای اخلاقی آنها کاهش مییابد. نتیجهگیری: نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که اندازه مؤسسه حسابرسی و رده سازمانی حسابرسان مستقل، بر استدلالهای اخلاقـی آنهـا اثرگذار اسـت. یافتههای این پژوهش میتواند به سیاستگذاران و قانونگذاران حرفه، برای جلوگیری از ریسک بالقوه بـیتـوجهی بـه آیین رفتار حرفهای توسط حسابرسان کمک کند.

چکیده [English]

Objective: This study is designed to investigate the effect of auditing firm’s size and the organizational level of auditors on the ethical reasoning at different stages of Kohlberg's theory of cognitive moral development. Methods: This study is a descriptive survey. A questionnaire containing a scenario was used to collect research data. 355 questionnaires were collected at 2020 from auditors working in private audit firms and the Audit Organization. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis. Results: The present study has three main findings: The first shows that the ethical reasoning of Iranian auditors is at the post-contractual level of Kohlberg’s theory. The second indicates a negative relationship between the levels of ethical reasoning and the size of audit firms, and finally the last finding shows that with improving auditors' position in audit firms, their levels of ethical reasoning decreases. Conclusion: The results indicate that the size of the auditing firms and the organizational level of auditors affect on their ethical reasoning. The findings of this study can help policy makers and legislators to avoid the potential risk of negligence by auditors.
